Ordering Information
PETAL INSTRUCTIONS:
The care of the fresh flowers is an important part of the preservation process. After you are finished enjoying the flowers you can get the petals ready for shipment. Please do not lay or put the fresh petals on anything plastic. This will cause them to mold.
- Take the petals off the flower.
- Discard the stem and leaves.
- The petals should be laid out on paper towels. Make sure the petals do not touch each other. This will prevent the petals from molding. Molded petals cannot be used.
- Let the petals dry until they feel coarse. This usually takes 3-5 days.
NUMBER OF FLOWERS NEEDED FOR JEWELRY:
- Rose or Carnation - 1 for Bracelet, 3 for Rosary
- Tulip, Daisy or Iris - 2 for Bracelet, 6 for Rosary
Any type of flower can be used. Please contact me at thebeadpetaler@gmail.com for the number of other types of flowers needed.
The finished beads can be any color you choose. As the petals dry they will change color so indicate on the order form what the original color was or include a color sample if you want me to match a particular color.
YOUR ORDER SHOULD CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING:
- Half of your dried petals layered between paper towels inserted into a mailer of your choice. I prefer that you only send half the petals in case of USPS loss. Store the other half in a paper bag.
- The ORDER FORM with all information completed.
- Your payment - I accept personal checks, money orders or Paypal. A Paypal payment request will be sent to you at the email that you indicate on your order form.
